Relationship Manager

Wellington, New Zealand

If you’re a natural communicator, strategic thinker and you love building value and preserving long-lasting client relationships, come and join the team at Boost.

At Boost we’re known for our high-performing Agile development teams, our close collaboration and transparency with amazing clients, and our award-winning team culture. Based in a sunny, open-plan office in the heart of Wellington, we offer both web and mobile development and design, and Agile coaching services.

We’re always looking to deliver value every time we meet with someone, whether they are already a client or not. We have successfully built long-lasting client relationships by delivering amazing projects that achieve our purpose as a business: supporting others to have a positive and lasting impact.

With a healthy pipeline of current projects, we are on the lookout for an experienced Relationship Manager to assist our Business Development Manager in finding exciting new opportunities that align with our purpose-driven values.

As a high-trust working environment, we value people who are servant leaders, who have great manaakitanga and who value succeeding as a team over personal wins.

We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager who has:

  • exceptional communication skills: your spoken and written communication is engaging, concise and transparent
  • a genuine thirst for and commitment to life-long learning
  • experience with sales: knowing that at the heart of “selling” is the transfer of trust
  • ability to see all sides of the equation: being client-facing and pragmatic; balancing the needs of the business with the needs of the client
  • high EQ: you’re self-aware, self-regulated, motivated and empathetic with great interpersonal skills
  • a high commitment to being part of the team helping secure the strategic future for Boost
  • an aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships using modern CRM practices
  • passion and drive to find and support organisations who want to make a positive and lasting impact.

Day to day you will enjoy:

  • being part of a team that supports others to make a positive and lasting impact
  • an environment that fosters continuous learning and growth
  • support of a 1:1 coach for both professional and personal development
  • being part of a team who embrace genuine work / life balance
  • an environment where you have the freedom to share ideas and experiment
  • a workplace that encourages you to be open and courageous
  • a team that likes to celebrate success together.

We’re a WorldBlu-certified democratic workplace and we don’t have top-down management; we want you to have a strong voice in shaping Boost, and the work we choose to do.

Does this sound like an environment where you would thrive?

Who we work with is the most important decision Boost makes as a company so we take a lot of care with our hiring. If this opportunity resonates with you, apply now with your CV and a cover letter sharing a bit about you, and why you love the sound of joining our team.
