IT Support Specialist

About the role:

We're looking for an IT Specialist to join our team! It’s a fast-paced environment in which you’d be working on cutting-edge technologies. We need people who are organized and able to think on their feet, and who can find creative solutions to interesting problems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Provide front line support for technical issues across our environment
  • Effectively manage inbound support requests via walk­up, tickets, and Slack
  • Continue to strengthen familiarity and understanding of all aspects of our IT environment; including Mac / Linux / Windows / Chrome OS workstations, mobile devices, Audio/Visual equipment, and printers
  • Assist with setup and sound check for company ­wide meetings across multiple offices
  • Learn how to administer Okta, Google G Suite, and other tools
  • Support our employee onboarding processes and day 1 training

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 2+ year(s) of Enterprise IT Support experience, or
  • 3+ year(s) of relevant technical customer support experience
  • Deep familiarity with macOS
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Understanding of computer hardware components
  • Proven ability to provide hands­ on and remote support and diagnose technical issues across a variety of different platforms
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and self ­manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience understanding complex issues, and explaining them in terms matching the customer's technical understanding
  • Desire to provide a fantastic level of customer service and satisfaction

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux operating system 
  • Knowledge of scripting in Python or Bash
  • G Suite administration experience
  • Okta or other SSO administration experience
