The BDR role is an entry-level opportunity in which the right candidate will gain valuable experience in technical sales and marketing. A Capriza BDR will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management for accounts around the world, with the goal of identifying and qualifying prospects from lead status and into the sales pipeline.

Building target prospect lists
Developing industry-specific scripts and email templates
Developing prospecting campaigns
Cold emailing and calling into target accounts
Qualifying opportunities and passing those on to the appropriate sales representative
Driving repeatable prospecting processes and consistent reporting
Must be able to work in a team environment while maintaining independence
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Comfortable engaging in conversations via email and phone. Some cold calling experience a plus
Ability to compose professional, clear and concise written communication
Experience using Salesforce.com a plus
Demonstrated ability to overcome objections; candidate will need to come prepared to engage interviewer in a mock scenario
