We’re looking for a highly experienced Brand Director to build TouchNote as a globally loved brand, leading our creative team of marketers, designers, copywriters and PR people. You’ll join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and lead our efforts to build TouchNote’s brand reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.
About The Role
We’d love to hear from brand and creative experts with deep experience in owning and bringing to life compelling, consumer-facing brands across product lifecycles from initial concept to launch. You should have a wealth of experience in leading the creation of above-the-line creative (ideally, television) and other marketing.
As we go through an exciting re-brand and prepare TouchNote for its next stage of growth, we're looking for a seasoned brand expert to drive our brand forward and own the redesign of our physical products, working closely with our Director of Growth, and ensuring we take our products to market with outstanding marketing campaigns.
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will manage The Studio - a specialised and highly impactful team of creatives - which comprises of our Head of Design, two Designers and our Content Manager. Heading up the team in this newly created and crucial role, you’ll enjoy a creative, collaborative, ambitious and rapidly growing company where you’ll be the mainspring in shaping the next iteration of our brand going forward.
Key responsibilities include:
Overarching Brand Strategy: Lead the global brand strategy for our current products as well as new products in the pipeline, and work closely with our Director of Growth and MD UK to ensure the TouchNote brand is strong and consistent across the company for maximum growth and retention.Campaign Management & Planning: Plan and deliver, through our cross-functional teams, high impact Television advertising campaigns across all consumer touch points, ensuring we deliver a coordinated campaign for all launches and for live products.Agency Management: Handle creative agencies and other 3rd party suppliers, providing clear briefings that inspire a passion for nothing but top-notch work. Provide useful, constructive and effective feedback that improves the work and relationships.Insights: Commision and implement consumer insights to help inform product development, brand and marketing strategies, and communications.Secure Brand Partnerships: Seek out and form innovative partnerships to deliver credibility to our brand, extend our reach and improve our products.Develop Strong & Collaborative Internal Relationships: Influence and respectfully challenge at a senior level. Motivate and inspire your direct reports and key stakeholders across our cross-functional teams. Hold your own in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable working in a company where you’ll need to sway people that don’t directly report to you.You are an experienced Brand Director, Creative Director or Creative Planner who has the skills to develop and execute a brand strategy and lead a team of designers, copywriters, and creative people.You have a track record working on successful TV advertising campaigns, ideally of consumer-facing, high profile brands.You have a significant background in consumer marketing, hopefully gained in leading agencies or other great consumer industries. Your skills should span the lifecycle of a product or service.You have awesome communication skills and an eye for excellent design. You're able to present well and evangelise the brand you're entrusted with, as well as experience forming brand partnerships across various levels. You’re really comfortable in a change environment and with rapid-growth. You’re able to perform well in this space, be flexible and agile.You’re someone everyone wants to work for, a seriously good leader, coacher and motivator. You seek to empower your team and you’re proactive and positive in your management style.This role is based in our London office and may require some overseas travel to Los Angeles as we establish our office there.
