About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and creative hands-on Art Director to join our growing studio team. Coming with a mix of agency and in-house experience and an ability to execute your own ideas, you’ll take ownership for a variety of things including photo / video shoots, motion graphics, social and branded content.You’ll work within our small and expert team of creatives, working closely with our Social Media Manager and Marketing team, and reporting into our Creative Director. You’ll be used to creating integrated campaign assets and giving your creative input! Our team are all self-starters, so it would help if you have some freelancing experience so you’re used to the pace.

The successful applicant will have a strong design and art direction background with a portfolio of beautifully crafted, envelope-pushing work showing exceptional attention to detail.

With a multi-channel mindset, the successful applicant will bring passion, dedication, and curiosity to every design brief and creative challenge they encounter. They’ll know a good idea when they have it, can persevere through stakeholder feedback and collaborate well to help see projects through to their full potential

This opportunity may be perfectly suited to a well rounded senior designer looking to step up - dependent on relevant experience

Requirements

About you

Need to haves:

  • Mix of agency and in-house experience
  • Proven ability to ideate/originate and execute concepts from scratch
  • Motion graphics skills (After Effects)
  • Experience executing paid social campaigns
  • Awareness of emerging social and media channels
  • Stakeholder management
  • A dual capability to think creatively and strategically
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience mentoring junior members of the team
  • A passion for typography, illustration, graphic design, new trends and culture
  • Full knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • Nice to haves
  • Some freelancing, tech sector or multi-channel experience
  • Knowledge of the UK and US market would be beneficial
